ABeachCottage.com was founded by British born Australian stylist Sarah who lives on the sunny beaches of Sydney, Australia.  She launched abeachcottage.com after a huge sea-change from the grey skies of London to the other side of the world, as a place to fulfil her passion for casual, laid-back decor and vintage coastal style, to document the story of the renovation of her old cottage and share the  journey of her move to a new country, a new home and a new lifestyle by the sea.

Abeachcottage.com has been featured in top magazines and newspapers around the world and the team at abeachcottage have worked with leading clients on the blog…abeachcottage blog quickly grew with readers logging in daily to see Sarah’s latest vintage find and gathering inspiration to re-use, re-purpose and re-invent for a comfy, easy coastal vintage home.  Sarah motivates her readers to source old cast-offs, browse flea markets and garage sales and turn them into much loved pieces with a past.

Eschewing the beach-themed look she combines bare floorboards, coir rugs, white cotton, neutral stripes, wicker baskets, Adirondack chairs, fresh flowers, and large puffy white sofas with the odd sea shell and displays a few interesting finds tumbled by the sea and washed up on the beach…

An advocate for winging it and not worrying about perfection Sarah loves to combine coastal, cottage and country for her much loved unique Beach Cottage style – she shares her projects, decorating ideas and ways to achieve a comfortable and casual home for real girls with real budgets and a real life.
